The UMaine Black Bears got two goals from Will Merchant, two powerplay goals and one shorthanded goal on their way to a 5-4 Saturday night win at UMass. 

The win means a weekend sweep - the first one for the Bears at UMass in 15 years.

Maine peppered Minutemen goalie Henry Dill with 46 shots.

Matt Morris stopped 31 shots for the Bears to get his 6th win.

The weekend wins gives Maine a 4-8-2 Hockey East record and 7-15-6 overall.
