For 11 and 12-year-old Little League baseball players the all star play begins at the local level and for a select few teams ends at the world series in Williamsport,PA. The Brewer LL team has taken step one.

Brewer scored a sixth inning come-from-behind win over Bronco LL Tuesday night to win the District #3 LL title. Now it's on to the state tournament in Augusta beginning Friday.

Thousands of teams all over the world are going through the same process in an attempt to play in Williamsport in August.

The Maine state tournament includes six district winners competing in a double elimination event. The winner goes to Bristol, CT for the New England regional.

The last Maine team to make it to the LLWS was the 2005 Westbrook team.
