UMaine + UNH Hockey Has Playoff Feel

The Maine vs UNH weekend hockey series is really a playoff weekend for both teams. For the Black Bears it could mean getting into the playoffs.. or not. For the Wilcats it could mean home ice for the playoffs... or not.

Maine begins the final weekend of play in the #8 spot in Hockey East, one point ahead of ninth place UMass. Remember, only the top eight make the playoffs.

UNH begins the final weekend in the #2 spot. But, only five points separate the top six teams. The top four teams get home ice for the first round of the playoffs.

The Black Bears play at UNH Friday at 7:30PM and Saturday at 4:00PM.
