Tiago Splitter scored 14 points for San Antonio, which nearly blew a 13-point, third-quarter lead, before hanging on for the victory.

Second-seeded San Antonio advanced to the Western Conference finals where the Spurs will face the Memphis Grizzlies, who closed out their series against Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

Stephen Curry scored 22 points for Golden State, while teammate Jarrett Jack added 15 points.
