Hadlock Field in Portland is ready for the 20th year of Seadogs Double-A baseball and the opener is set for Thursday evening at 6PM. The Red Sox farm club takes on the Yankees Trenton team.

Lefty Drake Britton will get the opening night start for the Seadogs. He is the 11th ranked prospect in the Sox organization and is the first lefty to start the opener since Felix Doubront in 2010. Doubront is now a member of the Sox starting rotation. In fact, 17 of the 19 first day starters for the Seadogs have reached the majors.

The Red Sox #1 prospect, shortstop Xander Bogaerts will be the lineup for the Dogs.

The #1 pitching prospect, Matt Barnes will start Sunday's game at Hadlock Field.

The Seadogs play their first seven games of the season at home.
