As college hockey begins its big week - the 2013 Frozen Four Championship in Pittsburgh, the list of players leaving school early for the pros continues to rise.

The number of college players who could stay at least another year of college but have elected to turn pro is 22...and growing.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers have lost the most, five players, all juniors.

The number of Hockey East players bolting to the pros is two. BU's Tom Nieto and UMass junior Connor Allen. No UMaine players.

Wonder how many players will bolt for the pros from Quinnipiac, Yale, St.Cloud St and UMass-Lowell once their seasons end later this week after the championship weekend?

A reminder that you can hear the NCAA Ice Hockey Championship game live Saturday night at 7PM on SportsRadio 92.9TheTicket. It's part of a four championship week on TheTicket - NCAA men's basketball, NCAA women's basketball, the hockey championship and the Masters Golf championship.
