#3 South Carolina Pounds UMaine 79-42 [VIDEO]

High powered South Carolina opened the game on a 15-0 run and put away the UMaine Black Bears 79-42 at the Naismith Hall of Fame Challenge Tourney.

The #3 ranked Gamcocks got a double-double from Alaina Coates ( 12 points, 14 rebounds). South Carolina had five players in double digit scoring.

Maine was led by Julie Brosseau with 11, the only player in double digits.

South Carolina's size was a huge difference, outscoring the Black Bears 52-8 in the paint.

The Gamecocks shot almost 56% from the field, Maine just 27%.

USC improves to 3-0. Maine falls to 2-3 and plays Hampton University today at 5pm.
