Thirty years have passed since Old Town High School last hosted a track meet. On Friday the Coyotes did just that as eight teams from around Eastern Maine were in the Canoe City to participate in the inaugural meet at the brand new track and field complex.A new 8-lane track was constructed last summer at the Victory Field complex and includes new areas for field events as well. Additions to the complex consisted of new grandstands, scoreboard and pressbox.

The first meet at the new facility was won by both the Old Town boys and girls teams.
