Dustin Pedroia led a 17 hit attack with a 5-for-5 night and the Red Sox blasted the Minnesota Twins 13-2 at Fenway Park last night. The Sox remain in first place with a season high 15 games over .500.

Mookie Betts got everything started with a home run on the first pitch the Sox saw. Jackie Bradley Jr. and David Ortiz also cranked homers.

Betts, Pedroia, Bogaerts and Ortiz, the first four hitters went a combined 14-for-19 with nine RBI.

Meanwhile, knuckleballer Steven Wright was brilliant on the hill - eight innings while allowing just one run on four hits and he struck out nine.

Wright is now 12-5 and 2.67.
