Maine football and its first ever home playoff game to did end according to script. The UNH Wildcats came to Alfond Stadium and simply beat the Bears 41-27. Jack Cosgrove's team finishes 10-3 with the only two losses in FCS play to New Hampshire.

Nearly 8,000 (7,992) fans watched on a blustery Saturday afternoon in Orono. UNH running back Chris Setian scored two fourth quarter touchdowns to seal the deal for the Wildcats. UNH is now 9-4 and move on the the NCAA  quarterfinals next week.
