The night went from bad to worse for the Boston Celtics last night. A 111-103 loss at the Garden to the worst team in the league, the Phoenix Suns. Then after the game, word that Aaron Baynes suffered a broken hand and is out for a while.

And so it goes with this roller coaster Celtics team.

They looked like a first place team in the first quarter, scoring 37 points. They scored a total of 66 the rest of the way.

The Suns out rebounded the C's 56-37. Devin Booker dropped 25 points. Deandre Ayton had a double-double with 23 points and 18 rebounds.

Kyrie Irving had a double-double for Boston with 29 points and 10 assists. He just ddin't get much help from others.

It doesn't get much easier for the (18-12) Celtics, high riding Milwaukee comes to Boston Friday night.
