It was a historic night for Isaiah Thomas in the Boston Celtics in the 117-114 victory against the TD Garden.

Thomas had 52 points in the contest, including scoring 29 in the fourth quarter which was a franchise record. He went 9-13 from the three-point line and 15-26 from the floor.  Al Horford was the only other Cs player who reached double digits with 21 points.

The Cs were without Avery Bradley who missed the contest due to illness.  The win gave Boston its 20th victory and they next get some time off before welcoming the Utah Jazz to the TD Garden on January 3rd.
