Just when you think it can't get any worse for the Boston Bruins on the injury front comes the news that Patrice Bergeron is out of action for at least four weeks.

The B's released the following injury update...

Patrice Bergeron sustained a rib and sternoclavicular (shoulder) injury during the second period of the Bruins vs. Stars game on November 16 in Dallas. He will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks.

Bergeron leads the team with 26 points (9 goals, 17 assists).

Five of the top six defensmen, including Zdeno Chara are out with various injuries. A couple of them are close to being back.
