The Stony Brook Seawolves swept UMaine baseball Saturday afternoon, 11-0 and 2-1. The Black Bears have yet to win in America East Conference play.

UMaine falls to 5-20 overall and saddled with an eight game losing streak. The Bears are 0-5 in America East.

Game 1: UM's Justin Courtney and SB's Chad Lee were locked up in a pitcher's duel for five innings - no score.

The Seawolves got to Courtney in the 6th inning for three runs.

Then added 8 more runs off the Maine bullpen in the 7th and 8th innings.

Game 2: The Seawolves won this one 2-1, scoring the winning run in the bottom of the 7th inning. A walk, sac bunt, a wild pitch and a ground ball brought home the winner.

Maine's Logan Fullmer pitched the first six innings, allowing just one run. John Arel was charged with the loss.

The Black Bears managed just four hits.

NOTE: UMaine softball lost game 1 to Stony Brook 4-0. The Black Bears came back to take game 2 by a 6-2 score. Maine is now 12-13 overall (1-1 NAC).
