AE Hoops: Maine Sweeps Bearcats [VIDEO]

Liz Wood and Issac Vann filled the stat sheet as the UMaine women's and men's basketball teams scored conference wins over the Binghamton Bearcats.

At Vestal, NY, Wood scored 18 points, hauled down 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in the 52-38 win over the Bearcats.

The victory puts Maine at 7-1 halfway through America East Conference play and 16-7 overall.

Sigi Koizar added 14 and Lauren Bodine scored 12.

At Cross Center, Bangor, Isaac Vann had 19 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists in a 74-63 win over Binghamton.

The win puts the Black Bears 4-4 at the halfway mark of AE play (8-13 overall).

Kevin Little led UMaine with 22 points.
