UMaine coach Bob Walsh takes his UMaine Black Bears into the always tough-to-play Patrick Gymnasium in Burlington, Vermont tonight for an America East quarterfinal playoff game.

On paper, the #6 Bears are clearly the underdog. They have lost eight in a row while the #3 Catamounts have won their last five games, including beating #1 seed Stony Brook in their last regular season game.

Vermont won both games during the regular season vs Maine.

The Bears are led in scoring by freshman Isaac Vann with almost 16 points per game. The Catamounts have four players averaging double-digit scoring.

Tonight will be the 133rd game between Maine and Vermont over the years.
