Boston Celtics ownership have extended the contracts of team president Danny Ainge and coach Brad Stevens. Terms and length of the deals were not disclosed.

Ainge has been president of basketball operations for 13 years now. The C's have made 10 playoff appearances and one NBA title.

Stevens was hired as head coach in July of 2013. He has completed three of the original six year deal.

Speculation is that the team wanted to show free agents that the Celtics have stability at the top of the organization. The week ahead are crucial to the team's future. First the draft on June 23rd (#3 pick) and then free agent season begins July 1st.
