Akanda-Coronel, Worcester Will Transfer

Two UMaine men’s basketball players will transfer out of the Black Bear program. Sophomore Dimitry Akanda-Coronel and redshirt freshman Mitchell Worcester will transfer according to a press release from the school.

Akanka-Coronel averaged 10 PPG this past season, that was third on the team. He is from the Boston area.

Worcester did not play in any games for the Bears. He is a 2,000 point scorer from Washburn.

UMaine went 6-23 this season.
