America East Conference leader UAlbany came to Bangor and shot 68% from the field in the second half and handed UMaine a 77-59 loss.

The Great Danes(14-7, 9-0) shot 55% for the game and 50% (10-for-20) from the 3-point line.

Despite that red hot shooting, the Black Bears had the Great Danes tied 44-44 with 11-and-a-half minutes to play.

UAlbany would outscore the Bears 34-15 the rest of the way.

Evan Singletary had 21 to lead the Great Danes.

Aaron Calixte led Maine with 15.

The Black Bears fall to 1-8 in AE and 2-20 overall.
