The Red Sox scored a nail-biting 7-5 win Sunday night to even the ALCS 1-1. Many New England fans called it a must win game.

Starter David Price was good enough for almost five innings and then the bullpen was very good to hold off the Astros.

Matt Barnes, Ryan Brasier, Rick Porcello and Craig Kimbrel worked the final 4.2 innings. Kimbrel did give up one run in the 9th but got the save.

Jackie Bradley had the big hit early, a bases loaded clearing double.

Mookie Betts keyed the offense late with a leadoff walk and eventually scoring on a wild pitch in the 7th. Then an inning later he drove in another run with a hit.

The scene now shifts to Houston for games 3, 4 and 5 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.

All of the games are live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
