The Boston Red Sox will begin the 2016 postseason tonight at 8 p.m. against the Cleveland Indians in the American League Divisional Round.

The Sox will send Cy Young contender Rick Porcello to the mound tonight and he'll be opposed by Trevor Bauer for the Indians.  Porcello has produced a 22-4 record with a 3.15 ERA during the regular season.

Boston also announced its ALDS playoff roster earlier on Thursday and will carry 11 pitchers and 14 position players, including two catchers.  Marco Hernandez earned one of the final roster spots on the 25-man, while Bryan Holaday Ryan Hanigan were left off in favor of Sandy Leon and Christian Vazquez.  Former World Series Champion Junichi Tazawa was left off of the roster, as was Heath Hembree.  Steven Wright also missed out as he continues to rehab from his shoulder injury.  The knuckle-baller is hoping to rejoin the roster for the ALCS should the Red Sox advance.
