Alley, Simpson Commit To Husson

Husson University women's basketball coach Kissy Walker has announced commitments from two North Region players - Emma Alley from Stearns HS and Abby Simpson from Foxcroft Academy.

Alley led Stearns to a 17-1 record and a #1 seed in Class C North this past season. The 5-foot-5 guard was named a PVC all-conference player, a McDonald's Senior All Star and a semi-finalist for the Miss Maine Basketball Award.

Simpson is a 6-foot post player and helped the Foxcroft Ponies to a 14-4 regular season and played for the Class B North championship vs Houlton. She had over 500 points and 500 rebounds in her high school career.

The Husson Eagles are coming off a season that finished at 23-5 with a first ever NCAA playoff win.
