Alyssa Williamson Is Miss Maine Softball
Alyssa Williamson of Scarborough High has been named 2014 Miss Softball in Maine.The announcement was made by the Maine Softball Coached Association who also cancelled the East vs. West all-star games because of rain.
Williamson who pitched and plays first base wrapped up a senior season in which she batted .468 with 5 home runs and 28 rbi. As a pitcher she was 6-0 with an ERA of 1.32 and 63 strikeouts.
Williamson who is also the Gatorade players of the year will attend Drexel University on a softball scholarship in the fall.
