Chalk up another tournament win for Camden Hills HS golfer Cole Anderson. This victory is the American Junior Golf Association title, beating out an international field of junior players in a 54-hole event at Sugarloaf.

Anderson wins by six shots over Quebec junior golfer Chris Vandette after shooting a 3-over par 75 in today's final round. His tourney score over three rounds is 218 (+2). That is rounds of 70, 73 and 75.

Today's round included seven bogeys and four birdies on the rugged Sugarloaf layout.

It has been quite a summer of competition for Anderson who finished third in the Maine Amateur Championship, won the New England Junior PGA Tournament, qualified for and played in the U.S. Amateur Championship in California and now the AJCA tourney title.

He is the two-time defending schoolboy Class A Individual champ and appears to be the guy to beat when the high school championship comes up in October.
