Add the Maine Match Play Amateur Championship to the growing list of titles won by Camden golfer Cole Anderson. He scores a 4 & 3 win over Bangor golfer Drew Powell in the Match Play final at Falmouth CC.

Anderson won the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) title last week at Sugarloaf GC. He finished runner-up in Maine Amateur Championship at Belgrade Lakes GC last month. Anderson is also a three-time High School champion.

Powell finished fourth at the Maine Amateur. He plays on the Brown University golf team.

In the head-to-head matchup Thursday morning in Falmouth, Powell won the second hole to go 1-up.

Anderson won holes 6, 7 and 8 to go 2-up. He won the 10th and 13 holes to go 4-up. The match ended after the 15th hole when Anderson led by four with just three holes to play.
