UMaine football is now 4-1 and the voters around the country have rewarded the Bears by placing Maine at #23 in the weekly Sports Network Poll . It is the first time the Black Bears have cracked the top-25 ranking this year.

The Bears are coming off a 28-21 win at Richmond. The Spiders were in the the top-25 last week but have fallen out with a 2-3 record.

Maine's wins are against Norfolk St, UMass, Bryant and Richmond. The loss was at  FBS Northwestern.

The Bears will host #24 Delaware (4-1) on Saturday.
