Attard Tops In Nation

The return of Gabby Price to the Husson Football sidelines is a big art of the Eagles turnaround but so too is the inspired play that has Husson showing up in some of the national rankings. The defense is ranked 18th in the nation allowing just 274 yards per game. Four of the top five tacklers are underclassman led by Junior Stephan Dance with 83 tackles, freshmen Ellis Throckmorton of Bangor has 67 and Logan Steward of Hampden has 44. Senior All-American Ernest Wiggins who is third on the team in tackles is also 22nd in the nation in tackles for loss with 15, and 27th in the nation in sacks with 8.

The Eagles also have the number one ranked punter in the country as Australian native Reece Attard is averaging 44 yards per punt.

Husson is on the road this week at Norwich University with both teams currently 4-1 in conference play.
