Rich Kimball was recently named Maine Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association, the third time in four years he has received that honor and the fifth time overall. Rich has over three decades of broadcast experience, including stints at WABI-TV, WLBZ-TV, and WZON Radio. Born in Hartford, Connecticut and raised in Bangor, Rich holds a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Maine and teaches Civics at Brewer High School. He is also the founder and director of Brewer Youth Theatre, having produced over one hundred plays in the past fifteen years and has appeared as an actor in over forty shows with Penobscot Theatre, Acadia Repertory Theater, and the Theater at Monmouth and is a founding member of the improvisational comedy team The Focus Group. Rich and his wife Abby live in Bangor with their dog, Ginger.
