Four high school coaches in Maine have been nominated and selected for the 'Most Valuable Coach Award' and now the voting begins to see who wins the top award.

Foxcroft Academy wrestling / soccer coach Luis Ayala, Narraguagus basketball coach Heather Thompson, Lewiston soccer / basketball coach Mike McGraw and Mt. Abram soccer / skiing / track coach James Danala are on the list of top 50 coaches around the nation.

U.S. Cellular sponsors the program and now the nationwide voting begins to narrow the list down to the 'Final 15' and eventually a finalist who will be named 'Most Valuable Coach'.

'Final 15' winners will earn a $5,000 donation to their school. The coach receiving the most votes will earn a $50,000 grant for their school or community.

The voting continues through November 14th.
