MIssion accomplished for the Bangor Rams. A 5-0 victory over Falmouth makes it three consecutive Class A baseball titles and it just happens to be the 100th all-sports state title in high school history.

At Mahaney Diamond in Standish, senior pitcher Trevor DeLaite capped off his high school career with brilliant three hit shutout. He struck out 10 and walked just three for his 9th win of the season.

DeLaite biggest strikeout was in the 4th inning. With the bases loaded, two out and a 3-2 count, he struck out Jesse Melchiskey to get out of the jam.

Meanwhile, the Rams offense scored two runs in the 3rd inning. One on a RBI single by Derek Fournier and one on a Peter Kemble fielder's choice.

Bangor added insurance runs later on a sacrifice fly by Jesse Colford and then a two RBI hit from Kyle Stevenson.

The Rams finish the season with a 19-1 record. Falmouth's only loss came to the Rams as the Yachtsmen finish 19-1.
