The defending state champion Bangor Rams will enter the Eastern Maine class A tournament as the team to beat after closing out the regular season with a 4-1 win.Bangor will be the number one seed after taking out Edward Little at Mansfield Stadium thanks to the pitching of Trevor Delaite who allowed just 2 hits and struck out 12 helping the Rams improve to 14-2.

The key hits came in the first inning on an rbi single by Derek Fournier that gave Bangor the lead for good. Andrew Hillier would add a 2-run single in the 5th inning.

Brewer also closed the season with a win by shutting out Messalonskee 5-0 as Evan Riva got the complete game win.

Alex Brooks drove in 2 runs for the 12-4 Witches who will get the #3 seed in the tournament.

Old Town finished off an undefeated season as the slipped past Hermon 6-5 and will head into postseason with a 16-0 record.
