Bangor Hockey Looking To Jump Back Into The Win Column

After taking their first loss of the season, the Bangor high school hockey team will look to rebound against 2-time defending state champion Thornton Academy.Bangor remains the number one team in Eastern Maine with a 6-1 record and have scored an average of 7 goals per game while allowing just 3.

Thornton Academy from Saco has won the last two state championships but lost several key players to graduation. The Golden Trojans return just five seniors to go along with 10 freshman and sophomores. Senior Stephen Comar is the teams leading scorer with six goals and nine assits.
