Bangor Legion Begins Quest Of Three-Peat

The Coffee News Comrades of Bangor will ask Zone 1 Player of the Year Peter Kemble to get them off to a quick start in the American Legion State Tournament today at 10am.

Bangor is the two-time state champion as the 8-team, double elimination tourney begins in Augusta.

Kemble won POY honors with a 6-0 record and 1.13 ERA on the hill and a .451 batting average at the plate.

The Comrades are 18-5. The Deering/Cheverus team is the runner up team from Zone 3.

4pm         Zone 4 Winner  vs  Zone 2 Runner Up
