Bangor Legion Tops Heading Into Final Week

One week to go in the Zone 1 American Legion baseball regular season and the Bangor Comrades own the best record with the Acadians nipping at the heels for the #1 seed.

Bangor is 12-2 while the Acadians are 10-3.

The zone playoff round begins next Tuesday with a #4 vs #5 play-in game followed by a four team double elimination tournament. All games to be played at the Winkin Complex at Husson University in Bangor.

The zone champion and the runnerup will both advance to the Legion State Tournament. That tourney will be held at the Winkin Complex as well. Start date for that eight team tournament in July 30th.
