A Bangor man has died from injuries he sustained in Southern Maine on Thanksgiving morning from a one-car accident.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says 44-year-old Christopher Galvin suffered multiple injuries when he lost control of his vehicle. It struck some rock ledges along Interstate 95 in Sidney just before 1:00 Thanksgiving morning and then overturned, coming to rest on its roof. The vehicle was discovered by a passing tractor trailer driver.

Trooper Diane Perkins Vance said the cause of the crash is still under investigation and, so far, no witnesses have come forward who either saw Galvin's vehicle or the crash itself. Galvin had been treated at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston where he died on Friday.

Anyone with information about the wreck is asked to call the State Police in Augusta at 624-7074.
