As if the rain wasn't enough to deal with Friday night, the Bangor football team also had to deal with the loss of starters in their 18-0 loss to Oxford Hills. The Rams played without 10 players, many of them starters as the school conducts an investigation into a disciplinary issue. The result of the loss drops Bangor to 5-3 on the season heading into the playoffs next week. Coach Mark Hackett made the decision to hold the players out of competition while the school continues its investigation. Any additional discipline will come from school officials once the investigation is completed next week.

On a wet slippery field the Vikings Davis Turner rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown to help lead the offense. Malik Geiger and Brady LaFrance had the other scores for 4-4 Oxford Hills.

Here are the other scores from week 8 of the high school football season.
