The Bangor Police Department is asking for the public's help locating the suspect in a robbery at Motel 6. The suspect indicated to the desk clerk that he had a weapon but never produced one.

Sergeant Tim Cotton said in a press release that the robbery was reported shortly before 10 p.m. on August 13th at the Motel 6 on Outer Hammond Street in Bangor. The desk clerk told police that a white male had come into the office to ask for a bag of ice. He reached under his clothing, told the clerk he had a gun, and demanded money from the register. The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect ran out of the building toward Hammond Street.

The Bangor Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division has been following up on leads and speaking to witnesses. As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for Caleb D. Church, age 20. Police say Church is a transient from the Bangor area, described as a white male, 5' 10" tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. He's wanted and will be charged with Robbery, Class B.
