For the second time in a week the Bangor baseball team posted a win over Hampden, and for the second time it was a shutout as the Rams pulled out the 5-0 victory.Senior pitcher Justin Courtney worked fast and threw strikes while going the distance for his third win of the season. Courtney allowed just three hits and struck out 9 while using just 73 pitches.

Courtney also provided the first, and what turned out to be the only run needed when he ripped an rbi triple in the third inning to get the Rams on the board. Sam Huston and Kyle Stevenson had two hits each to help lead the offense.

Bangor improves to 12-2 on the season while the Broncos drop to 5-7.
