Bangor vs. Windham On 92.9 The Ticket

The number one spot in Eastern Maine class A football is on the line tonight as the Bangor Rams host the Windham Eagles at Cameron Stadium.Bangor is coming off a come from behind overtime win against Portland last week while Windham gave Cheverus its first regular season loss in five years last Saturday.

The Rams have the top rusher in the east with Dane Johnson totaling 858 yards and 13 touchdowns. His offensive line along with fullback Langston Hamer-Nagle have provided exceptional blocking in a dominant ground game. Bangor's defense has also been impressive, allowing an average of just 13 points per game.

Windham comes in with an equally impressive rushing attack with junior Dylan Koza who is third in the east with 544 yards and 9 touchdowns. Koza is averaging 8 yards per carry and will be a significant test for the Rams defense.
