Bangor Wins Opener 48-6

The new look Bangor football team had some questions entering the season opener, some of those were answered in their 48-6 win over Edward Little.The Rams feature a brand new offensive backfield which controlled the game. Tailback Dane Johnson rushed for 152 yards on 30 carries to pace the offensive attack. Johnson finished the game with 2 rushing touchdowns, a 25 yard interception return for a score, and an 85 yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

The defense was equally impressive as theyheld the Red Eddies to less than 100 total yards in the game.

Next up for Bangor is their home opener on Friday against Scarborough.
