Derek Fournier of Bangor High School has won the McDonald's High School Athlete of the Week with 54 percent of the total vote over Ian McIntyre of Hampden Academy.

Fournier is 4-0 on the season as the goaltender for the Bangor Rams and has a 0.27 goals against average on the season after a shutout win versus Brewer on Tuesday evening.  He has a .980 save percentage on the year and has allowed just one lone goal on the season.  The Rams are 4-0 on the year and will next face Lewiston on the road on January 4th.

The Rams' goalie took home the vote with almost 700 submissions this week.
