Bangor High School junior Carson Prouty helped the Rams win a 5th straight state baseball title last June. Today, Carson Prouty the swimmer, set two state records at the state championship meet at Bowdoin College.

Prouty turned in a time of 1:51.19 to win the 200 Yard Individual Medley event, lowering the record by almost a second.

His time leading off for the Rams 400 Yard Freestyle Relay event was 45.99, another state record. The team finished third in the relay.

And, Prouty won the 200 Yard Backstroke event.
