Bangor’s Sanderson a Finalist For Roy Award

Bangor high school senior Parker Sanderson has made the list of finalists for the Travis Ray Award.The list of eight semifinalists was cut down to four with Sanderson among them. The others include St. Dom's goalie Grant Carrier, defenseman Nick Bagley of Scarborough and forward Cameron McLain of Cheverus. The winner will be announced at a banquet on the 24th in Lewiston.

The award goes to a Class A senior who not only displays great skill on the ice, but also great character on and off the ice.

Sanderson finished the season as the states second leading scorer with 25 goals and 26 assists for 51 points despite missing four games with an injury.
