The Boston College Eagles showed why they haven't lost a game since November. The top ranked Hockey East team beat the Maine Black Bears 7-2 Saturday night at Conte Forum. BC has now has a nine game unbeaten streak.

The Eagles scored the first goal of the game just 70 seconds into the game but Maine answered with a goal with 0.9 seconds left to tie 1-1.

Then in the second period, BC scored three goals in a minute and a half and that was it.

Johnny Gaudreau, nicknamed Johnny Hockey, dished out  five assists. His linemate Kenny Hayes at a hat trick. BC improves to 16-4-3 overall and 10-1-1 in Hockey East.

Maine's goals were scored by Jon Swavely and Stu HIggins.

The Black Bears are now 11-8-3 overall and 5-3-2 in HE.
