Home cooking didn't help the UMaine men's basketball team change its fortunes. Princeton came into the Cross Center and shot the lights out in a 73-59 win.

The Tigers shot exactly 50% from the three-point line (11-for-22) while the Black Bears were just 7-for-26 (27%).

Maine was playing its home opener after six road games to start the season.

Princeton was led by David Cannady with 29 points.

Maine was led by Andrew Fleming and Isaiah White with 19 points each.

Princeton improves to 3-2.

The Black Bears fall to 0-7 and now it's back on the road at St. Peter's in New Jersey on Saturday afternoon.
