Bears In Finale, Playoffs Next

The UMaine hockey finished the regular season with a 5-4 Saturday night win over Northeastern on senior night. Now its on to the Hockey East playoffs.

Seniors Cam Brown, Eric Schurhamer, Blaine Byron and Matt Morris were honored at Alfond Arena before the game.

Nolan Vesey scored a hat trick for the Bears, including the game winner in the third period.

Matt Morris made 40 saves in net for the Black Bears.

UMaine finishes the season with a 5-15-2 Hockey East record (11th place), 11-19-4 overall.
