Bears Pick Up 6th Win

UMaine baseball scored an 8-4 over Northwestern down in Florida Friday afternoon. Perhaps a little pay back for Wildcats beating the Bears in football last fall.

Tommy Lawrence pitched the first six innings to pick up the win on the mound. Lawrence gave up four runs on 10 hits.

Colin Gay led Maine with four hits and a RBI.

The Bears improve to 6-12. Northwestern is 3-12.
