And it keeps getting worse for the UMaine hockey team...The Black Bears played at Alfond Arena for the first time this season and got waxed by UMass Lowell 6-0.

The River Hawks scored four times in the first 15-minutes before freshman goalie Rob McGovern was pulled by Maine coach Red Gendron.

Matt Morris was the replacement and allowed two goals the rest of the way.

UML goalie Kevin Boyles stopped all 38 Maine shots.

The Black Bears fall to 0-8-1 (0-4 HE). UMass Lowell is 8-1-2 (4-0-2 HE).

Maine hosts Vermont for a two game series next weekend.
