Bears Try To Continue Alfond Dominance

The University of Maine hockey team is 10-0-1 at Alfond Arena this season and will try to stay unbeaten as they host the Merrimack Warriors this weekend.The Bears have had the Warriors number over the years with an overall record of 69-19-8, but have only won twice in their last 10 meetings. Devin Shore continues to lead the Bears in scoring with 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points while Ben Hutton is next with 10 goals and 12 assists.In his 25 starts, goalie Martin Ouellette is 12-10-3 with a 2.08 goals against average.

Merrimack comes in as the last place team in Hockey East with a 2-10-2 record and have lost 5 of their last 6 games.
