Bears Will Play #11 Ranked Team In Nation
When the UMaine Black Bears tee it up Saturday afternoon for the home opener they will be playing the #11 ranked team in the nation in FCS.
Coming off back-to-back FBS games and a bye week, Maine meets James Madison University at Alfond Stadium. The (2-1) Dukes are coming off a 56-28 loss to FBS North Carolina Saturday.
This is the CAA conference opener for both teams.
JMU brings the top ranked offense in FCS football to Orono.
The Dukes are one of six teams in the CAA ranked in this week's top-25. Maine plays five of teams in the weeks ahead.
